Guerlain partners with Aptar Beauty for premium fragrance pump solutions

Guerlain has partnered with Aptar Beauty to enhance its L’Art & La Matière collection with premium pump solutions, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to luxury and sustainability.

Aptar Beauty will supply two types of pumps: the Sensea fragrance pump and the GSA dispensing pump. These pumps are tailored to meet the needs of Guerlain’s refillable fragrances and personal care products.

The Sensea fragrance pump is featured in all 100ml bottles within the core L’Art & La Matière collection, including the latest Patchouli Paris Eau de Parfum.

It is also used in 60ml Les Extraits Signature bottles, which house Guerlain’s most concentrated fragrances.

Known for its soft, gentle actuation, the pump delivers a fine, uniform spray at a 60-degree angle, enhancing the sensory experience.

Manufactured and assembled at Aptar’s Le Neubourg facility in France, the pump’s components are finished in anodised gold, with Guerlain’s iconic double G monogram engraved on the actuator.

Designed for refillability, the fragrances can be replenished in-store, while travel sprays are refillable at home, supporting sustainable practices.

For scented hand and body lotions and soaps, Guerlain has chosen Aptar’s GSA dispensing pump, crafted at Aptar’s Chieti facility in Italy.

The GSA pump features a metal-free pathway to preserve formula integrity and includes a twist-to-lock mechanism for easy refilling.

Its gold-anodised collar complements the premium aesthetic of the collection, ensuring a cohesive luxury presentation.

“This partnership showcases our ability to adapt dispensing solutions and leverage synergies across our manufacturing sites to meet Guerlain’s exacting standards.” 

Expanding digital sampling capabilities

Aptar Beauty is also expanding its digital sampling capabilities by partnering with SoPost, a digital sampling and logistics company.

The collaboration combines Aptar’s expertise in manufacturing and filling samples with SoPost’s proficiency in digital campaign management and distribution logistics.

Memo Paris, a luxury fragrance house, was the first to benefit from this partnership, using Aptar’s Imagin sampling solution.

Imagin’s extra-flat spray format is ideal for postal distribution and e-commerce, ensuring cost-effectiveness and convenience.

The partnership enabled Memo Paris to effectively target customers, track product discovery, and gather valuable data for customer relationship management (CRM).

Arthur Courtois-d’Auzac, Digital Head at Memo International, emphasized the importance of product sampling, saying, “We strive for each interaction with our brand to be enjoyable and memorable. Sampling is a key touchpoint in creating a compelling brand experience.”
